New features and enhancements

CFM Accommodations

CFM Accommodations lets you easily manage the cabins and bunks on board your vessels as well as arrange respective cleaning or maintenance services. Just like our other modules, CFM Accommodations offers a variety of options for the export of data. Thus, allowing you to process the data in other systems or use them for other purposes.

  • Cabin plan handling has been enhanced in ShipClient. Cabin plan templates can now be uploaded to any deck, extended with additional tags from the cabin directory, and exported directly from the cabin directory export options.

CFM Crewing

CFM Crewing is your one-stop solution to handle all crew-related tasks centrally and in an intuitive way. From master data management of seafarers, planning the crews on board as well as their relief, the management of working and rest hours of the crew up to managing payrolls, everything can be done in one single solution.

  • Seafarers' travel expenses in currencies other than their payroll currency can now be automatically converted in ShipClient when a relevant exchange rate has been added to the system and the associated global setting is activated, reducing manual currency handling.
  • A new global setting allows organisations to configure whether deficient rest hour periods require mandatory remarks from seafarers on board before they can be approved, supporting more complete rest hour records.
  • The Crew List export now includes sequential numbering of seafarers, making it easier to see how many seafarers are on board.
  • Document settings can now be configured per Non-Crew IP Category, providing more granular control over document requirements for non-crew personnel.
  • Payroll positions added or last edited on board are now indicated with vessel icons, improving visibility of where payroll changes originated.

CFM Event Reporting

CFM Event Reporting lets you make the most of your data and gain real insights into the performance of your fleet by monitoring a wide variety of key figures. By monitoring reports about times of arrival and departure, the begin and end of sea passage (BOSP/EOSP), bunker consumptions, times of anchorage or lay-up as well as noon reports, CFM Event Reporting lets you see the big picture of your fleet – enabling you to conduct further analyses.

  • Anchorage and Lay Up Reports now allow seafarers on board to indicate whether the vessel was drifting during the reporting period, adding further context to reported vessel activity.

CFM Incidents

CFM Incidents enables you to seamlessly document any incidents or near-misses that occurred onboard your vessels. After an event has been documented, corrective or preventive actions can be defined as well and are then automatically synchronised with the office.

  • Incident reporting has been enhanced with additional report information and sorting options. The report number is now displayed in the details sidebar, while the Categories Report can be sorted by vessel name and incident category and now includes vessel and report names in the export.
  • New notifications alert users about relevant events in CFM Incidents, helping them stay informed about important updates.

CFM MRV & IMO DCS

CFM MRV & IMO DCS enables you to easily record and analyse all key figures required to achieve compliance with both the EU MRV and IMO DCS regulations. The required data can be entered directly on board, all further calculations are carried out automatically in the system, you only have to forward the results.

  • Distance Traveled validation now uses manually entered vessel positions over port positions in ShipClient, supporting more accurate validation when vessels are located near ports.

CFM Maintenance

CFM Maintenance allows you to plan your maintenance work centrally, precisely and according to your requirements. It gives you full visibility of your fleet status and lets you regain control over the maintenance jobs of your fleet.

  • The History Job export now includes remarks added by the crew when jobs are completed, providing additional context in exported maintenance records.
  • Fleet Jobs can now use running-hour-based intervals even when no component counter exists. If no counter is found, the job is skipped.

CFM Purchase

CFM Purchase provides you with all sections of the purchasing process at one point in an intelligently structured manner, gives you full control over your budgets and allows your suppliers to work directly with this information. Thanks to an intuitive dashboard that features the most relevant information and upcoming tasks, CFM Purchase always focuses on what is important and streamlines the complete purchasing workflow.

  • Users can now select the delivery address when making inquiries and placing orders, helping ensure items are sent to the desired destination.
  • Supplier filtering now supports searching for suppliers connected to services such as Procureship or ShipServ.
  • The price sum is now displayed when editing items in the order stage, improving visibility of order values while changes are made.
  • A new setting allows users to define whether a header discount applies to all items or only to items with the requisition’s budget group.
