New features and enhancements

CFM Cashbox & Bonded Store

CFM Cashbox & Bonded Store makes it much easier to handle cash on board. Just set up your default currency cashboxes ashore and synchronise to your fleet. For a smooth transition from paper to digital work, your crew only needs to register the initial balance and is immediately ready. Cashbox allows you to keep track of all cashbox transactions and raise a cash to master request when new money is needed. Bonded Stores seamlessly integrates with Cashbox and assists you to register all transactions in your on-board shop.

  • ShipClient can now apply automatic currency conversion to cash advances and Bonded Store sales. When enabled, the relevant payroll exchange rate is populated automatically from stored daily or monthly rates, reducing manual input and helping ensure consistent calculations.

CFM Charter

CFM Charter allows you to draw up contracts in a few steps and automatically create invoices. Easily conduct laytime calculations, forecast earnings from charter agreements and execute post calculations.

  • Event reports from vessels using the WNI weather reporting service can now be imported automatically, reducing manual data entry and making the information available in CFM Charter and CFM MRV & IMO DCS.

CFM Crew Portal

CFM Crew Portal enables simpler and more transparent management of all crewing processes while reducing administrative effort. It enables your seafarers to autonomously view and manage their personal data such as certificates and to access company news and shared data.

  • When seafarers select a competency in CFM Crew Portal, the corresponding STCW Regulation is now populated automatically and locked, helping maintain accurate and consistent records.

CFM Crewing

CFM Crewing is your one-stop solution to handle all crew-related tasks centrally and in an intuitive way. From master data management of seafarers, planning the crews on board as well as their relief, the management of working and rest hours of the crew up to managing payrolls, everything can be done in one single solution.

  • Overtime calculation can now be configured separately for each vessel, allowing organisations to choose between manual processing and calculation through the ISF Watchkeeper integration.
  • A new Person History Report shows which seafarers were allocated during a selected period, supporting tasks such as identifying crew eligible for bonuses during yard stays or other defined periods.
  • Users can now subscribe to notifications when a seafarer is marked as Not for Re-employment in a performance report, helping relevant teams respond promptly to important staffing decisions.
  • Crew Light CSV imports now support domain login, email address and CSM activation details, allowing seafarer accounts to be prepared directly during the import process.
  • Overtime hours entered in payroll are now retained when a wage is unconfirmed, eliminating the need to enter the same information again when the wage is subsequently reconfirmed.
  • Pinned Remarks can now be filtered to show remarks created by other users or by members of the same agency. A dedicated permission controls access beyond a user’s own remarks, supporting broader collaboration while maintaining appropriate visibility.

CFM Disturbance Report

CFM Disturbance Report lets your crew easily create detailed, standardised service requests that can be directly assigned to the person responsible and which will then appear automatically within their dashboard. You can follow-up all service requests in a Kanban view, which gives you a full transparency an all pending requests and their individual status.

  • The Vessel Task Report now includes Root Cause information in both its filters and Excel export, making it easier to analyse and report on disturbance tasks by their underlying cause.
  • Administrators can now define the maximum permitted due date for Disturbance Reports. Dates beyond the configured limit are flagged and cannot be saved, helping organisations enforce consistent follow-up times.

CFM Event Reporting

CFM Event Reporting lets you make the most of your data and gain real insights into the performance of your fleet by monitoring a wide variety of key figures. By monitoring reports about times of arrival and departure, the begin and end of sea passage (BOSP/EOSP), bunker consumptions, times of anchorage or lay-up as well as noon reports, CFM Event Reporting lets you see the big picture of your fleet – enabling you to conduct further analyses.

  • ShipClient users can now save Event Reports and MRV reports before all BDN information required for CII consumption is complete, allowing fuel and consumption data to be entered progressively rather than in a single session.

CFM Incidents

CFM Incidents enables you to seamlessly document any incidents or near-misses that occurred onboard your vessels. After an event has been documented, corrective or preventive actions can be defined as well and are then automatically synchronised with the office.

  • Microsoft Word exports of incident reports now include images attached to reports and remarks, providing more complete visual documentation in the exported record.

CFM Inspections & Audits

CFM Inspections & Audits lets you easily prepare and manage pending inspections. With extensive planning features and the option to create templates for your questionnaires, CFM Inspections & Audits makes sure that you are always best prepared for upcoming inspections and have a complete overview of all tasks.

  • CFM Inspections & Audits now includes dedicated Roles and Users settings, allowing administrators to control access to individual actions and ensuring users only see the functions permitted for their role.

CFM MRV & IMO DCS

CFM MRV & IMO DCS enables you to easily record and analyse all key figures required to achieve compliance with both the EU MRV and IMO DCS regulations. The required data can be entered directly on board, all further calculations are carried out automatically in the system, you only have to forward the results.

  • ShipClient now checks MRV report dates and times against anchorage periods, helping prevent overlaps and conflicting data when creating Arrival, BOSP, Daily and EOSP reports.
  • ShipClient Anchoring Reports now capture steaming time, time at anchor and drifting during anchoring, with supporting calculations and validations providing a clearer record of vessel position changes.

CFM Maintenance

CFM Maintenance allows you to plan your maintenance work centrally, precisely and according to your requirements. It gives you full visibility of your fleet status and lets you regain control over the maintenance jobs of your fleet.

  • The Maintenance Job History now includes filters for due running hours, completion date and completion running hours, making it easier to locate and analyse completed jobs.

CFM Purchase

CFM Purchase provides you with all sections of the purchasing process at one point in an intelligently structured manner, gives you full control over your budgets and allows your suppliers to work directly with this information. Thanks to an intuitive dashboard that features the most relevant information and upcoming tasks, CFM Purchase always focuses on what is important and streamlines the complete purchasing workflow.

  • Purchase Inquiries now provide an expanded supplier comparison workflow, allowing users to compare quotes side by side, assign suppliers at line-item level and generate multiple Purchase Orders within one process.
  • Administrators can now control quote-editing rights separately for procurement inquiries and supplier webform inquiries, ensuring only authorised users can enter or amend supplier quotations.
  • Invoice approval rules can now be regenerated automatically when quantities, prices or budget groups change, helping ensure approval workflows remain aligned with the latest invoice details.
  • Delivery templates now support item prices, currency, tax, discounts and delivery reference numbers, allowing more complete delivery documents to be generated directly from CFM Purchase.

CFM Certificates

CFM Certificates ensures that you all your necessary certificates are up to date and this way, that your vessels are seaworthy. It provides you with various options for the setup of certificate types, such as pre-warning periods, categorization on the revalidation (on expiry, annual or intermediate surveys), the definition of port- or flag-state requirements, or the assignment of responsibilities.

  • Administrators can now manage permission roles and user assignments through a dedicated CFM Certificates settings page, providing detailed control over who can view, add, edit and delete certificate information.
